As I mentioned in the last post, we had quite the frustration with Jeff's truck earlier this month. We ended up spending over $900 in trying to fix it at 2 different shop visits, and during the last visit they told Jeff that he needed a new engine. The heck with that! Why would we want to spend another $4000 on a truck that we knew wouldn't last much longer. Well, that same week, the truck died and wouldn't start until my dad called AAA towing for us (when they were still in town). Long story short, it was a stressful time. A few days later, after A LOT of going over our budget and trying to figure out what to do, we brought home a 2008 Toyota Tacoma that had a great sale! We got the double-cab, which will help taking Ryker in his carseat. Even though it's Jeff's new "baby", he still lets me drive it every once in a while. :)
